Between November 3rd – 8th, 2013. Super Typhoon Haiyan ripped through the South East and ravaged more than 300 miles of the Philippine country side. Many were left without food and shelter in the wake of Super Typhoon Haiyan’s destruction. Humanitarian efforts were made across the globe, and the Irving Moskowitz Foundation responded by making a generous donation.

The Irving Moskowitz Foundation donated $100,000 to the American Red Cross in response to the Philippines relief disaster in the wake of Super Typhoon Haiyan. The foundation has donated to the American Red Cross in the past and fully understands that the organization will pave the way for quick assistance to those in need.

Dr. Irving Moskowitz understands the importance of giving to those who have little, nothing, or have lost it all. Irving Moskowitz lost 120 of his relatives in the holocaust, since 1968, the Irving Moskowitz Foundation has donated millions of dollars to various charitable organizations. The foundation’s principles stand at:

The Irving Moskowitz Foundation sees no boundaries in terms of natural disasters or those that differ, the foundation hopes to help those in need and prays strongly for those to circumvent through such tragic circumstances.
